5This is a real keeper  Jan 25, 2008 By Jamie Foster Wolcott
I purchased this after wanting it for sometime now since seeing the infomerical. I understand some real hard core firm believers aren't all into this, but let me tell you I'm not an intermediate exerciser. I love this series. I started off with Cardio Party and burned some major calories according to my heart rate monitor. I found this to be very enjoyable and liked that I was introduced to several instructors during this workout. My next workout was Hi Def Sculpt using 8-10# hand weights (I already owned a complete set of weights)and found a great whole body workout that really got my heart pumping and was enjoyable to do. My next workut was cardio overdrive and that's one way to describe it. The instructor uses a series of moves and builds on them per section. You do some weight moves as well that keep you heart rate elevated throughout the workout. I found the moves easy to follow and was able to pick up on the routines rather quickly. The final is the hard core fusion and this one is the longest and my favorite. You get a great workout using handweight throughout with cardio bursts. Overall I give this series two thumbs up and even purchased some more firm workouts. I had been a firm believer back in the mid 90's and saw great results with the instructors at that time. However this is one of the Newer Firms I really enjoyed and found to be a great workout. I tend to do things that make me work up a great sweat and have not been a bit disappointed with this series. I also know I will be doing these workouts over and over again because they take the boredom out of doing the same thing since you have 4 workouts to chose from. I know someone mentioned the music wasn't great, however I've found it to be the right tempo for the moves that you are doing at the time and didn't see an issue. I am already seeing great results from this and know I have more to come.

4Nice workout mix  Nov 07, 2007 By P. Bradford
I ordered this kit a few weeks ago and am overall pleased with it. I like the fact that you have a choice of 4 DVD's. I mix them up to keep my workouts entertaining. The only problem I had was the cueing and learning some of the steps because the transitions were too quick. It is also apparent that some instructors are more comfortable in front of the camera than others. But getting over that, the workouts were good. And I love the music on each DVD. I really liked the workouts that targeted my abs..as this is a big trouble spot for me. Three of the DVD's offer an express option if you can't devote a lot of time to your workout. For the price, it is a very good deal. Some of you who have other recent Firm videos will recognize some of the moves in the Cardio Party DVD.

4Love these workouts!  Jan 27, 2008 By Kenneth D. Tucker "amy9769"
I've been using the Firm videos for years now and I love the TransFIRMation DVD's. I like that I don't need to use a step and that there are express options on the workouts. I agree with some other reviewers about the weights, they are OK but I didn't need them since I already have hand weights. I also think these are really not workouts for someone new to exercise. Some of the footwork on some of DVD's were a little tricky at first, but after a few times through I was fine. I like that they are completely different from some other Firm videos like the Transfirmer series. I also like the "salsa" dancing and moves like the "Butt and Back burner" and the "triceps-tummy toner." I would recommend these workouts to anyone who is a little bored with their old workouts and wants something new.

4It works!  Dec 11, 2007 By reetzorion
Guarenteed results in 10 workouts is no lie. The firm delivers exactly what they say they will and your body will continue to burn fat even if your schedule doesn't allow you to do the routines as much as you should or would like to. It may be tough, but as long as you keep trying it will get easier and easier and the results are worth it.
The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because I would rather have the option to buy only the DVD's. The weights are good quality but I don't need them so I feel that it's a waste to have to buy the hole kit when you only want the video's.

4Good Workout  Jan 24, 2008 By S. K "Fitness freak"
I have been a Firm fan for sometime now, and really like the fact that they have come up with a series that does not need fanny lifters and sculpting sticks.

Pros:

Great workouts with express option for those short on time days, now you really have no excuse not to work out.

You don't waste 5 minutes of a 30 minute workout assembling steps. Although I love the fanny lifter, sometimes I just want to workout without having to move things around a million times.

The work outs get you moving, and sweating and maybe tough for beginners, but are ok for intermediate levels.

Good explanations about proper form. I like the fact that they have a Bonus feature on the menu that explains some moves. This way you can really practice the move, before you start the workout.

Hi-Def Sculpt and hard core fusion (Allie is great, as always) are the best videos. The cardio party gets a little too "dancy" for me, but I am beginning to enjoy it. Cardio overdrive is fine; I like Ultimate Fat Burning by the same instructor more than the Cardio Overdrive (you have to purchase this DVD separately).

The instructors do quite a bit of "Waist work". This is a problem area for me and I especially enjoy the workout because of the streches and wood chop moves. Other firm tapes I have do not address this area as much.

The Sets are good, so it's visually pleasing.

Cons:
Sometimes the Cueing is off, and that can get irritating.

Music could be better.

WEIGHTS!!! They add up to just 3 pounds per dumbbell, I just use the 5 and 8 pounds dumb bells I had at home.

I think the pros out weigh the Cons and the 4 stars( I would like to give it a 4 and 1/2 rating) are just because I thought I would be getting a better set of weights.
