5Easily seen for Arkham Horror  Jul 25, 2011 By K. Baisley "Cougar"
These are much easier to see than the green dice. The green dice are very cool, but they are also harder to see on the fly. Having more dice is nice for those end-game battles.

5Excellent Dice!  May 09, 2012 By Joshua D. Haney
I just love these dice! The Elder Signs are outstanding and will be great Wild Dice for Savage Worlds games, especially those with Cthulhuesque themes. They are well made and should last through many, many games!

4Special Dice for Arkham Horror - A Boon To The Occasional Player  Mar 13, 2012 By Stephen Mann
The fact that these dice make obvious what the unmodified success roll is in a game of Arkham Horror is spiffy. I can never remember what I'm supposed to be roling because I play so many other games so more often than Arkham Horror. Of course, if you get cursed or blessed the success rolls get changed, but at least you know what the baseline is just by looking at the dice. A great idea.

I agree that the bone colored set is far and away the easiest to read, too. Green on black doesn't give my eyes the same contrast to help them read the scores as black on bone.

However, at over two dollars a pop for each die these are probably the most expensive D6s I own. Heck, I have FUDGE dice that came cheaper (but not by much I grant you). I'd buy another set (you so often need to roll six to nine dice to guarantee a success) but the cost is prohibitive, so one star comes off.

And yes, I can see the irony inherent in someone who owns Arkham Horror and the expansions for it complaining about the price of dice.

5Cool dice.  Jul 07, 2011 By A Real Guy "I'm realer than you!"
Ads to the game. Bought these as a gift for a friend who let's us use his game. It really ads to the game when the dice don't look so plain.
