5Excellent, Works Great  Sep 30, 2008
I began cycling 5 weeks ago and I wanted to make sure that I stayed in the weight management zone of 60 to 70% of my max heart rate. It is the easiest monitor I have ever used. Great buy.

4Very good deal  Sep 29, 2008
I have had it for just over a month. I had by-pass surgery in June and my cardio-therapist recommended that I get a pulse monitor. This one had the best price. I am now going to the YMCA and some of the equipment has pulse monitoring built in. My monitor agrees most of the time with the built in monitors. Of course, I don't have any way to tell which is the most accurate. But my gut feeling is that the Omron is the closest. I would certainly recommend it.

5does what i need it to  Sep 28, 2008
Works great, I wear the watch for the time all the time and use the monitor for swimming and running. I get no signal when I'm in the water but as soon as I stand up in the pool it sends the heart rate to the watch. No problems so far.

2Battery DOA  Sep 26, 2008
Low rating due to the battery in wrist monitor being dead when I received it. Compounded by the not our problem response from Omron customer service.

From Omron customer service:

"The batteries are trial batteries and are only meant to last for about 6 months. The batteries are not covered under the warranty, therefore, we do not have them so send out."

4Good Basic Watch  Sep 24, 2008
It is a good basic watch. It is easy to read and has a backlight. The first one sent to me had a dead battery, but they sent a new one quickly.
