5Iron man 2 iron man mark V and War Machine minimates  Nov 16, 2011 By J.c. "Jeffrey Danser"
This set is a very awesome, cool, and nice. the detail on the war machine is GREAT! But the mark V iron man was not so great. (And it didn't even come with the suitcase I mean really! in the movie that suit is the SUITCASE SUIT!) But over all it was a very nice set. :D

5Time for an armored butt-whuppin'  Feb 15, 2011 By Jorge Ruben
Wave 35 in the "Iron Man 2" Minimates series continues with Iron Man in the Mark V armor and Jim Rhodes in the War Machine armor. The Iron Man Mark V armor is a new sculpt, with new chest-piece, legs and gloves. It is reminiscent of the Silver Centurion armor from the comic books, what with its red and silver finish, and is fairly faithful to the armor from the film, much less bulky and more streamlined. The chest-piece is smaller, and the gloves are slightly smaller than the full-gauntlet the other figures have. The legs and boots are also slightly different from the other armors. The face is nicely done, although it doesn't really resemble Robert Downey Jr. It DOES, however, look like Tony Stark has taken quite the beating from Ivan Vanko, with scratches and bruises all over the face, and it comes with a tousled hair piece, not as extreme as the Iron Man 1 hair-pieces, but also not the neatly-coiffed pieces of the other Tony Stark figures. A separate set of hands are included but unfortunately only one solid helmet is included. It would have been nice to keep the symmetry going with the other armors and include a helmet with the facemask up, but as he didn't have the facemask up in that scene I can understand why it wouldn't be included.

Jim Rhodes makes his second appearance in the Iron Man movie Minimates. As opposed to the first one (Terence Howard in his civvies), this one is Don Cheadle in the famous War Machine armor. The likeness is spot-on, and the hair is painted on as opposed to the separate hairpiece for the first Jim Rhodes. The armor is well-done, with a bulkier chest-piece and gauntlets, as well as bigger boots. Also included are a mini-gun and missile-launcher that snap onto Rhodes' shoulders. A separate set of hands are included, as well as 2 helmets: the full face and one with the facemask up. Unfortunately, the face-up helmet is a little tight, and forcing it down on the head will lead to it getting stuck and possibly popping off the entire head when you try to remove it.

Overall the figures are great representations of their movie counterparts. War Machine is well worth owning, although the Mark V armor might be getting into overkill. At least it's red and silver as opposed to red and gold.
