The Ultron action figure has 29 points of articulation and comes with a glider. In February 2005, right before the 2005 American International Toy Fair, a catalog image of Ultron was released which caused an uproar due to the "dog version" head sculpt. That sculpt was just one that had been considered, and is not the one that is on the Ultron figure that was released.

5Ultron is far surpasses the negative comments...  Jan 30, 2006 By Stefan Wind
I was originally not going to purchase this action figure due to the over-all design, but after brooding and brooding I broke down and bought Ultron from Amazon. To cut a long story short, the figure is awesome in design and sculpt and looks amazing posed with my other Marvel Legends. He is extremely sturdy and substantial, and a real bang for your buck. Plus the comic he comes with is a great read for any comic book fan.

5ULTRON IS GREAT!!!  Jan 13, 2006 By A. Kuehn
Ultron is an awesome action figure in the Marvel Legends Legendary Riders series. He is definitely one of the very best. He is a very popular and long-time Avengers villain. That alone makes him worth buying. His articulation is pretty good and all the joints are tight and well concealed. The paint job is great. No heavy airbrushing and it has a nice metallic look to it. I'm not 100 percent crazy over the body sculpt that they used for Ultron. I prefer the older, classic look to this version. I'm still trying to get used to his chicken-styled legs and feet. However, since he is a robot that is constantly upgrading and modifying, this style works, too. Ultron has a character-dedicated vehicle that looks great and he fits onto it very well and stays on. He doesn't really need it or use it much in the comic books, but it works as an excellent display stand. I love the idea of the character-dedicated vehicles. It would have been nicer if they had a light and sound feature or fired a missile or something, but this is a good start. He also comes with a very recent Avengers #22 comic book. It's an action-packed issue with the Avengers fighting against Ultron and a seemingly endless army of Ultron drones. It's great for young readers. Ultron isn't stocked very well at all, so getting one or replacing a broken one will be tough. But, if you find yourself with the rare chance to buy one, I highly recommend that you do. This figure is very good and any Marvel Legends/Avengers fan would be pleased.

3Ultron Displeases  Mar 03, 2006 By D. Cook
In addition to the overall body and head being different than the classic Ultron of comics, the elbow joints are unusually stiff and in some cases unable to be moved without breaking the arm. It's too bad b/c Ultron is a great villain.
