5Just what it needed!  Dec 24, 2010 By Lu Fig
Lunch money is a good game but this expansion makes it great. I wouldn't recommend lunch money without it. On its own, it can get a little boring and you can tell who's gonna win from the start. The expansion really mixes it up and makes the outcome unpredictable. Anything can happen at any time. Also, the Mach game in the instructions is a riot. Are you really supposed to all have your own bully nick name and more or less act out the violence?! kind of funny if you do.

5Great expansion!!  Oct 17, 2010 By Joshmindseye
Very creative additional cards to an already awesome card game! I recommend no one under 14, due to some "violent content/images". But great card game if you want to be create on how to "beat up someone".

5may break my bones...  Nov 20, 2008 By Zack Davisson "japanreviewed"
I am a huge Lunch Money fan, and have been playing with the same set for about 10 years now. But even the best game can use a booster shot, which is exactly what "Sticks and Stones" provides.

A 55-card expansion, it stays with the same basic rules as "Lunch Money" while adding a few twists. Some are straight forward, like the card "Chunk" which is a weapon that can only be dodged not blocked. Some add more of a challenge, like "Cooties" which can only be delivered by a "Grab", and which knocks you for a point a turn. Several of the cards, like "Hippie", are only good in a multi-player game and don't make any sense with only two people.

The pictures are in the same style as the main game, although the little girl's face is more visible and she becomes more of a character. There are great quotes on every card, this time attributed to various news sources and horrible circumstances of humanity.

All in all a great supplement to Lunch Money. If you like the main game, you are going to want to get this.

3Meh. REALLY needs an update. Just like the original.  Jun 20, 2008 By Kozmik_Pariah "King of Dorkness"
This is the expansion for Lunch Money. It adds many a card to the deck, but suffers the same problem as the normal edition, but at least (unlike Beer Money, which "can combine" with Lunch Money (while keeping a TOTALLY DIFFERENT card back), has "Lunch Money" backs).

The game overall is pretty fun, but not for the colorblind. Again, like the basic game. Sometimes (just like LM), some card colors seem to look like the others. Players new to the game and its expansion/s will have to consult rules on cards (a really flawed system), and so will some vets who haven't played for awhile.

If you're tired of LM, this is a good thing to get to mix up the deck a little bit, but if you're new, don't buy this until you have purchased and played the basic LM game a few dozen times.
