2Out of Scale and Paint Apps are Horrible  Dec 22, 2011 By an amazon member
The "Identity Crisis" wave of figures from DC Direct is weird, wild and wacky. Scale goes out the window, as does any adherence to character design or quality. I actually bought this Hawkman figure sight unseen. Just preordered him, along with the Zatanna figure. He arrived and looked like hot garbage. Way, WAY out of scale with Zatanna; I mean, seriously this type of out of scale look just does not happen in real life. If Zatanna is, say 5'2" then Hawkman here is easily 8 feet tall and that doesn't include his ridiculously large helmet wings.

The helmet. That freakin' helmet. BRIGHT ORANGE for some reason. Paint apps are a nightmare on this figure. The helmet wings are insanely HUGE and look nothing like the way the character was drawn by Rags Morales in the series.

Bright spots? Well, the mace is pretty cool. Also, the wings on this Hawkman are actually functional and in scale with the character! He can also stand up on his own without the wings knocking him over! That is really saying something for your typical, horrible, poorly-designed DC Direct figure. I gave him an extra "mulligan" star for those two bright spots. Anyway, if you are a Hawkman fan, this is not a bad figure at all, especially given that DC Direct made it. However, if you are buying this figure for an "Identity Crisis" set...don't do it. Just walk away.

4Wizard Entertainment has great customer service!  May 13, 2007 By Ann-Marie
I purchased this toy for my son. Two days after he received it, one of the legs broke off. I was really disappointed, and e-mailed the company. I received a reply almost immediately, with a big apology and they let me know that a replacement action figure was already on its way. Not only did they replace the broken toy, they included an additional action figure as a token of their apology. I have never received such good customer service. I will certainly shop with them again.

5collection.  Feb 01, 2010 By Carmelo Sandoval
I am a huge comic book fan and when I saw this figure I had to add it to my shelf of Comic Book Heroes. I got my item on time & in perfect condition, so I would order more products from the seller.
