This is a cute little yeast stuffed toy with bud scars and all. My boyfriend is a PhD student working on yeast, so I gave him this as a stocking stuffer. He liked it and besides, if you have a scientist in the family, these little plush microbe, etc toys are ALL the rage now.

Got this as a gift for my science teacher--he loved it. It's very cute, though not too fluffy, and comes with a mini-pamphlet containing fun facts.

I bake most of the bread we eat and brew my own beer. I'd wanted a plush microbe ever since I saw their Mad Cow, but never found one that was a "match" for me. When I noticed they had yeast I thought it was just what I wanted.
Little did I know that the casual act of handing it to my three month old son would result in it becoming one of his favorite toys. For some reason a large, light stuffed toy bigger than his head is endlessly fascinating.
