Crazy, always changing fun Aug 09, 2010 I picked this up to go along with my copy of Zombie Fluxx, as I wanted to be able to play 'classic' fluxx without having to pull cards from the Zombie flavor.
I busted it out one night with my mother, brother and sister, and we had a blast. They were initially wary of it, as the last gameI had introduced them to was We Didn't Playtest This At All. I promised this would be slightly less crazy, and I think overall it was received much better.
If you are looking for a pretty wild, fast paced game with ever changing rules, this is the game for you.
unique card game Jul 20, 2010 I say it's unique because I've never seen another card game I could compare it to. This game may not be for the young or old unless they're quick of mind, as you need to keep track of all sorts of changing rules as you go. But my 10-year old nephew kept us older folks straight as he kept track to make sure we weren't breaking any rules when we got up to eight or nine of them at once. We all think it's a pretty fun game, though there is alot of chance involved sometimes on who actually wins. If you're in it for just enjoying time with others, this game is lots of fun after you catch on to how it works.
The Game of Fluxx Jun 12, 2010 This game really makes you pay attention! Literally the rules of the game change from player to player and if you don't read those cards carefully, you could get lost. I didn't think I was going to like it, and more, I thought my husband was going to hate it...but wouldn't you know, we really, really enjoy playing. What's more, our friends and family are all clammoring to get their own Fluxx set. LOL
Loads of unexpected outcomes and surprising and sudden wins. But more, loads of fun!!!
Fun and always different May 18, 2010 I don't know what else to say about this unique game except for "it's fun." The graphics, colors, and gameplay are fun. It took us about 10 tries to get a good feel for the game which is a compliment since games that are too easy to learn are usually too boring to play more than twice. The instruction card is refreshingly short and helpful. This game was made by smart people for players who don't have be geniuses but are probably smarter than average. Who knows, maybe Fluxx will make you or your child a little smarter.
Great game for all ages. May 07, 2010 This game is great. It is never the same twice and is really a lot more challenging to win when you have people of different gaming 'prowess' around the table.
