Great Product - How to Remove Them Sep 30, 2009
By A. Eason I bought these at an ACE hardware store in Chincoteague, VA. They work very well. Three caveats:
1. Open the can before mounting the cap;
2. If you shake the capped soda, it will act just like a shaken can, so open carefully, away from stuff you want to keep dry;
3. The ACE guy taught me how to remove the cap when the can is empty. Just put the top on tight, and squeeze the can (away from stuff you want to keep dry.

A wonderful little gadget Jul 16, 2008
By Melody Hall I bought three of these at a July 4th Festival and I love them! I use them at work to keep my soda fresh and it really does help the carbonation from going out of it(you hear a psst when you unscrew the lid). I was not told that they are NOT dishwasher safe and washed all three on the top shelf. Only one was damaged and I learned my lesson to only hand wash them. It would be nice if there were a few more threads on the bottle to tighten the cap down further (they screw down only one rotation, far enough that my 6 yr old handles it just fine). But if you are using it in your car, at work or home then this product is perfect for you. The cap securely pops onto the can and doesn't leak at all. I recommend this cap to anyone who hates drinking flat soda and likes to try out new inventions. This one is worth trying out and it works great!

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Aug 25, 2008

I, too, have had no issues with leakage from the tops. We have three and use them constantly. I purchased after many accidental spills with cans and love them for converting our cans to bottles. Just make sure you don't forget to open the can before you put it on since they are impossible to remove from an un-opened can :o)I will be purchasing more of these...they are GREAT!

Works...but Not The Original Snap Capp... Aug 02, 2011
By Jason Ralsky This is a nifty little invention that actually turns drinking a can beverage into technically a semi-spill proof can which also keeps out various debris if you are outside. While the caps do work, their overall performance is very substandard and makes for an unnecessary step when drinking a beverage from a can.
I drink Soda and Seltzer from a can and not once have I ever really needed to bother putting a cap on my can. I'm careful not to spill my drinks and I've yet to have random "debris" magically find its way into my can. Still, I got a chance to try out these Snap Capps and while I was initially impressed, the feeling wore off very quickly and has me avoiding these all together. While not a terrible item, they not for everyone.
PROS...for the Snap Capps are what impressed me initially. They are very easy to snap on, and fit every can I have laying around the house (standard 12oz Soda/Seltzer cans). Once applied there was no leaking and the top cap was very durable. It snapped closed and would not open even when I decided to test the waters and shake the can everywhere. The caps come in 6 unique colors which makes coordination who's cap is who's perfect, plus with the 6 pack you can hand them out for a small party and every knows who's drink is who's. And, well that about does it for the PROS.
CONS...for the Snap Capps I began to develop over repeated use. The more I used these the more I wanted to stop using them. The seal, while leak free, isn't as strong as it could be on various cans. Pepsi ONE, for example, was perfect while Cherry Pepsi cans did not seem to snap on nearly as tight; Coke cans had the same problem. The seal held and there was no leaking but it just did not seem 100% in my book. Another problem is carbonation. These are advertised to contain the carbonation(fizz) of your drink and from what I've seen they work about as good as leaving no cap on. The fizz ran out just as fast as if I left the cap off.
Another problem is removing the caps. While very easy to get on, the caps can be difficult to remove. This is because not only is the can empty (and crushes in your hand as you try to remove the caps), but there will always be a little bit of liquid between the cap and can which creates suction. This Suction actually helps to hold the cap into place.
The caps are somewhat durable though. Despite sometimes having to wrestle with them to take them off the can, all the Capps I've used were in good working condition even after a few uses. However after those few uses I noticed they were not sealing nearly as good as when new. Thin stretchable plastic does not make a good seal for long
OVERALL, while the item works, it does not work completely as advertized and ends up being more of a hassle than it is worth. Yes you have a sealed cap on your can, but removing it can be a pain depending on the can + you are putting your faith in a piece of ultra thing flexible plastic to make a seal around a can. That seal fails for even a moment while drinking and your drink is going to be all over you. With the problems I've had removing them, the lack of keeping the "fizz" in, and the overall cheap construction design that screams FAILURE after a few months of heavy use I personally would not recommend these.
Made of very thin plastic that has to flex to make a seal, it is only a matter of time before they crack or just simply do not seal right anymore. Throw in the fact they are hand-wash only (Heat from a washing machine will warp them), and instead of a twist top it is a simple plastic flip lid...it just screams cheap.
**NOTE: These are advertised as SNAP CAPPS. While they are "Snap Capp" style, this is not the SNAP CAPP people are familiar with. These are the very cheap versions of them which use thinner plastic and have a plastic flip lid instead of a sealing cap. I have placed a Link in the comment section that shows how the "high quality" Snap Capps work. These keep the Fizz in and make very tight seals.
