Wet erase markers leave clear, easy to see, and resilient marks on the map until wiped off with a wet towel. Perfect product for gaming that requires a grid, be it square or hex.

It's the perfect gaming mat for any tabletop role-playing game.
It works perfectly with the mentioned markers (I ordered as well) and it wipes off leaving no mark or stain behind.

This was the perfect product we were looking for to enhance out gaming experience! It is so easy to write on and then quickly wipes away so we can create a constantly changing terrian or make notes in changes in the room. It's a must have to any Dungeons and Dragons player or any tabletop game!

It is thinner than my old Chessex, but I like the 2-sided aspect (square and hex). I haven't experienced the marker-staining that my old one succumbed to....

The mat works just as advertised and is a good substitution for those that cannot afford to purchase terrain maps. This map also works for different styles of role playing games as it has both a square side and a hex side. I would recommend this mat to anyone role playing with figures and has to keep a budget in mind.
