My wife bought this ring for me to add to my Green Lantern costume for Halloween. It arrived on time, fit well, and was exactly what I was looking for.
Be aware, however, that this ring is shipped in the UNCHARGED state, probably for safety reasons. To date I have found no means of charging it, as Amazon does not appear to sell a fully-functional Green Lantern battery linked to the Central battery on Oa. So, just be aware that you will NOT be able to fly, shoot energy beams, create force fields or communicate with the Guardians of the Universe with this ring. If you find a way to do these things, please contact me immediately.
(All kidding aside, I was very pleased with this ring, and if you are a GL fan, you will be too.)

I got this exact same ring at a comic store for 99 cents. I got the set of 7 for 13 dollars. Whats up with this price?

I've had my rings for a several months now. Two of them are actual Green Lantern rings (one remains unopened). The other is a Sinestro Corps (Yellow Lantern) ring painted green at the factory, essentially a misprint. I have opened one of the green ones and the misprint.
On the negative side it's pretty gawdy. It's made from a flxible plastic, with sparkly paint. So it's not of super quality. You have to understand that these were are promotional rings that were given out for free when the Blackest Night comics came out.
On the positive side they're awesome! My two friends (1 Superman fan, and another GL fan) think it's awesome. I wear the regular green ring on occasion with my Green Lantern T-shirt. It's held up surprisingly well! I have average size fingers, and the ring fits me perfectly. The back is open so it can easily fit on larger fingers. They probably won't fit so well on thinner fingers however.
Like I said earlier, I bought my rings a few months ago. Back then they cost about a dollar each. At the moment (2/21/11) they're going for about $13. I understand there is some supply and demand going on, but holy crap. I like the rings, but I wouldn't pay more than $5 for one. Also at the moment the other colored rings are going for pennies. Do what you will with your money, but I wouldn't reccomend buying a Green Lantern ring unless the price is right.
